Cheryl Ann joined the East Coast Greenway Alliance late in 2018, bringing more than twenty years of nonprofit experience in operations, fundraising, and community organizing. She has been involved and enjoyed working with nonprofits at both the national and local level including Public Broadcast Service, Human Rights Campaign, Democratic National Committee, the regional affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and Foundation of Hope.
Cheryl Ann is a native of Durham where she lives with her wife and dogs. She can be found at the beach whenever possible. When she can't be digging her toes in the sand, you'll find her digging in the dirt in the yard and garden. A self-professed addict of women's college basketball, she also enjoys golfing and of course biking. She continues to volunteer with the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen and also Vets to Vets.
