New England Coordinator

Kristine Keeney

Kristine joined the East Coast Greenway Alliance in July 2018. From her base close to Portland, Maine, she leads the development of the Greenway in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Kristine served previously as a community planner for the Mad River Valley Planning District in Vermont and as bicycle and pedestrian program coordinator for the City of Portland, Maine. She holds a master's degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science & International Affairs from American University.

In her free time, Kristine enjoys skiing, biking, sailing, surfing, climbing, and canoeing around New England.
